How to Update Your Einstein's Firmware
Einstein Firmware History
A list of firmware updates with details and release dates. The firmware 'Version 60' update includes ALL PREVIOUS UPDATES that have been released.
- Improve Compatibility with FusionTLC’s Raven. The flash unit’s configuration is no longer overwritten by the Raven – flash mode and model mode now remain the same when powering on via the Raven.
- Bug fixed where if a remote requests lower than -8.0f flash power, the Einstein would revert to full power.
The previous power state is now saved when the unit is unplugged. For example, if the unit is on when the power is unplugged, and then the unit is plugged back in, the unit will automatically boot. If the unit is off when power is unplugged, the unit will stay off when plugged back in.
Pocketwizard E-Release channel support – channels now range from 1-32 and zones from A-H.
Improves communication between the processor and LCD screen. This can often correct an issue where a customer’s flash unit displays a white screen.
Runs the fan at a faster speed for a few seconds at startup. This can correct an issue where the fan fails to start when powered up, which could lead to the unit shutting down due to heat.
