DELAYS IN PRODUCT DELIVERIES

NASHVILLE – Like many retailers and manufacturers, Paul C. Buff is experiencing delays in product deliveries from key vendors due to challenges in the global supply chain. With the continuing spread of COVID-19, many backups, both domestic and international, have occurred due to the following:
- Shortage of vessels and air-freight capacity due to initial reduction in orders
- Global worker shortage impacting shipping and ports
- Rail congestion at major freight hubs within North America
- Increasing demand for consumer goods as economy recovers
- Higher-than-anticipated demand on production team
We are working diligently with our suppliers to replenish our inventory as quickly as possible. We offer our apologies to our loyal customers for any delays and sincerely appreciate everyone's patience and understanding. As always, our dedicated customer service team is available to answer any questions you may have. Thanks!
PRICE INCREASE ON SELECT ITEMS

NASHVILLE – Paul C. Buff, Inc. increases pricing on select modifiers and accessories.
As material costs and tariffs continue to escalate across the globe, Paul C. Buff, Inc. has also been heavily impacted by these significant increases. In-turn we must also increase our pricing on select items, after absorbing these costs for over a year.
We will continue to remain diligent on adjusting our pricing structure to accommodate the budgets of our customers and navigate the ever changing landscape of material costs and tariffs.
LINK 800WS and HUB Remote - UPDATE

Our primary focus has always been our customers and this year we’ve seen some challenges that we had never expected. After the LINK flash unit’s initial debut at Imaging USA in January of this year, we were faced with the unknowns of the Coronavirus pandemic. This not only affected us internally but also with the manufacturing of the unit.
During this unexpected downtime our engineering team worked diligently to reevaluate the unit based on feedback provided by staff and beta testers, and found ways to enhance its performance.
Venturing into High Speed Sync and TTL capabilities for this first time in our product line, we came across some roadblocks that not only added to the learning curve for development but also the delay of the product release and development of the HUB remote.
We are greatly encouraged by the excitement surrounding the LINK and want to provide our customers with the most stable and robust equipment to add to their arsenal.
In regards to product availability, we are currently projecting a late January 2021 release for the LINK 800WS flash unit, and the HUB remote for Nikon.
The HUB remote for Canon will soon follow, with a tentative release at the end of February 2021, as it is in it’s final stages of development and FCC testing. While this delay is far from ideal, we appreciate everyone’s patience as we develop a product that best fits the needs of our customers while we continue to implement features that had not existed in previous flash units or remotes. We are still actively working on the Sony and Fuji HUB remotes, but do not have an eta on when they will be released at this time.
The Paul C. Buff, Inc. App is still scheduled to release alongside the LINK and the HUB and will be available for FREE on both iOS and Android. More details will be available in the coming weeks.
As always our focus remains on providing unmatched customer service experiences, affordable and reliable products, and the dedication to bringing new features to our line of products. We know there are a multitude of photography lighting equipment providers, and with all sincerity, we are so thankful you've chosen us!

Our showroom is still closed to walk-ins, however you are able to pick-up your orders as we practice social distancing recommendations. The recent pandemic has not only put a strain on businesses and the livelihood of our customers, it has also added a bit of a delay to the release of the LINK 800WS. We had initially planned for a Spring product release, however due to the pandemic and the manufacturing delays it has caused we will not being hitting that target time frame. As the economy begins to transition back into a form of normalcy, we will be sure to provide an updated release date once it becomes available. It has been a bit of a rocky start to 2020 for the Nashville community. With the clean-up from the recent tornado still fresh in our minds, and in our hearts, the global spread of COVID-19 has caused additional concern and a need for some additional precautions.
Our primary concern, and area of focus, is on the health and safety of our employees, their families, and our customers worldwide.
In an effort to keep our doors open, alongside limiting the potential exposure of the virus, we will be running the company staffed at 50% for the next two weeks.
We will continue to navigate this situation daily and remain as transparent as possible as we adhere to any guidelines set forth by the government regarding business practices.
It’s the resiliency, hard work, and determination, that is found within all of us, that will be a driving force as we get through this difficult time and see our country flourish and blossom once again!

PAUL C. BUFF, INC. ANNOUNCES LINK 800WS FLASH UNIT

Nashville, TN – Paul C. Buff, Inc. announces the LINK 800WS Flash Unit. “LINK”-ing past products with current photography needs, the LINK is backed by the reliability and ease of use from our previous flash units, and combines HSS, TTL capabilities, a detachable battery, and an ultra-bright daylight balanced LED modeling light into one solid flash unit. The LINK is a combination of some other units favorite features. The ultra-bright daylight balanced LED modeling light is similar to that of the DigiBee with even more power coming in at 800WS. This is great not only for continuous lighting but also video work. The all metal housing, like that of the White Lightning X-series, and a detachable battery make the LINK perfect for photographing on location. Adding all of these features, and more, make this the most powerful and versatile flash unit in the Paul C. Buff, Inc. product line.
“We know it has been a bit of a wait, and we appreciate those who’ve been patient with us as we’ve developed the newest addition to the PCB flash unit family,” said Anthony Romano, Marketing and Communications Manager at Paul C. Buff, Inc. “We are a smaller company which does help to keep our prices low, but in-turn it takes a bit longer to develop new gear. During our development time, we had a chance to observe what’s out there and hear what photographers not only want, but what they need. We only want to provide equipment that is beneficial to our customers and unique to our product line.”
“Our new HUB remote, part of our CyberSyncTM family of remotes, will allow the LINK to perform HSS and TTL,” states Romano. “The initial release will be for Canon and Nikon with Sony soon to follow.” Adding to the ease of use there will also be a BUFF App to control your lights directly from your cell phone. Available on both iOS and Android platforms, the app will connect directly to your flash units using the HUB and will allow for adjusting both flash and modeling light power, with more features becoming available in the near future.
The LINK, HUB, and the BUFF App are all scheduled for a Spring 2020 release.

STATE TAX COLLECTION NOW IN EFFECT
